ARRAIGNMENT UPDATE: BRONX MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN KNIFE ATTACKS THAT INJURED TWO SEPTUAGENARIAN MEN ON SUBWAY TRAIN

Defendant Patrick Chambers, 46, of the Bronx, was arraigned late yesterday afternoon in the hospital before Queens Criminal Court Judge Scott Dunn. The defendant is charged with attempted murder in the second degree, two counts of attempted assault in the first degree, 2 counts of assault in the second degree of an elderly person, 2 counts of assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

The defendant will be back in Court on August 14, 2020. If convicted, Chambers faces up to 25 years in prison.
