Wendy Erdly

Chief of Staff

Wendy Erdly is an attorney and public administration executive with nearly a decade of public service experience. Most recently Wendy worked at the New York State Department of Financial Services as the agency’s Chief of Staff and later the Deputy Superintendent for Cybersecurity. She has also been Special Counsel for Ethics, Risk, and Compliance at the New York State Liquor Authority, the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation. Prior to her public sector roles, Wendy was counsel to many companies through Axiom Legal including United Technologies, Unilever, and Kraft as well as an attorney in private practice at Bernstein, Litowitz Berger & Grossman and Dewey & LeBoeuf. She was named one of the “Best Under 40” lawyers by the National LGBT Law Association and holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. from Lafayette College.
