Statement of Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown on appointment of new police commissioner

Bernie Kerik is a solid law enforcement professional who has done a first rate job as Corrections Commissioner. And Joe Dunne combines all of the attributes of the experienced street cop and with those of a talented administrator. We have all worked together closely in the past and I very much look forward to continuing to work with them in their new roles.
