Senior Fiscal Analyst

Office of the Queens County District Attorney, Kew Gardens, New York is seeking to fill the position of Senior Fiscal Analyst.  Qualified candidate will assist the Director in the administration of fiscal activities related to the agency’s overall PS and OTPS budget which exceeds $50 million annually.   Responsibilities will include assistance with the handling of the Office’s expense budget; cash management controls; budget monitoring, analysis, and forecasting; audits and reporting and related record keeping and retrieval; accounts payable and receivable functions; agency bank account oversight; and other special projects as assigned. 

Qualification Requirements
A Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.  Ideal candidate will have five plus years’ experience with NYC budget process and strong working knowledge of NYC Comptroller’s Directives, and other applicable rules and regulations.  Experience working with New York City’s Financial Management System (FMS) preferred. Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel and Word, a plus.

Fiscal Analyst

Office of the Queens County District Attorney, Kew Gardens, New York is seeking to fill a Fiscal Analyst position.  Candidate will assist with accounts payable and receivable; budget forecasting; expenditure tracking and analysis; audits and reporting and related record keeping; and cash management controls.


Qualification Requirements
A Baccalaureate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration or related field, or equivalent education and experience.  Ideal candidate will have experience with New York City Budget Process, New York City Comptroller’s Directives, and working knowledge of the City’s Financial Management System (FMS).  High level of experience in Excel and QuickBooks strongly preferred. Strong organizational, communication and people skills a must.
